The Jangchub Chorten
A Jangchub Chorten represents the Buddha’s path towards enlightenment. The structures will contain consecrated texts, relics and prayers and feature seven principal elements: Thri, Bangrim, Bum-pa, Lhakhang, Khorlo, Dhug and Nyim-da.
In essence: Project 108 is not simply the construction of 108 stupas—it is a collective spiritual and cultural journey bringing people together in Bhutan through faith, community, tradition and service.
